Omg how could I forget? The wife has mastered astral projections with the 2nd door. Her husband says how do you always know things you shouldn’t. His first affair (she def snapped during this one) His second (she wants to use her to “save” David). Who killed the cat, the wife? The David? Why is she training MC to astral project. And if MC contacts the police then what for the wife? What is her aim here

MC is investigating the friends disappearance and there’s no sign of him. Even from his sister. The newspaper clippings hint at arson as the cause of the estate fire that claimed the wife’s parents but could be a red herring. I do think Rob has something to do with this as the cause of the singular issue, that one day, that plagues the couples lives. But I don’t think he made it out alive.

End of Part II: MC gives wife a burner phone to call when she needs and sees she has meds for antipsychotics. Is husband messing w her or does she actually need them. Now MC is lucid dreaming and sees an image that is in her son’s room when she goes in. Like she predicted it. Is she getting dosed or is this door thing something more ?

MC questions husband on the saving of his wife in the fire. He jsut /happened/ to be driving by at 2 AM but doesn’t have time to save the parents. And he a poor farm boy now controls her entire estate. She asks about the friend from the psych ward and you can tell she’s suggesting he did something to him. That he’s the reason the wife doesn’t have any friends. He is offended by this. But won’t clarify.

Wife gives MC her journal from the clinic to try to lucid dream and find the door. She learns vicariously thru this journal about her friendship with a fellow patient after the fire. What happened to h? The husband finds out about the women’s friendship, wife made sure of it. He forces Mac to resign and says to stay away from them both. They’re not good for her.

Husbands psych patient visits home cuz he’s attached to his Dr but sees wife’s bruise she plays it up and feigns fear then he tattles to the head Dr. Wife pretends that it didn’t happen and likes that the patient is now attached to her. She has leverage over her husband now where she can threaten to say she was lying and he actually did hit her.

wife made a few comments: she is pushing husband from her to MC; she hopes MC is all she hopes she is; her husband can’t divorce her. Is she trying to escape? He does lock her in the kitchen when she goes on a spending spree (purposefully ofc) and she has a bruise on her eye but it’s not explicit how she got it. MC assumes the husband and they did fight the night before but idk. Don’t trust my yandere queen

End of part I: so the wife doesn’t like that they slept together but she needs her to make her husband happy? Idk. And Idky she def has some dark shared past w the husband that binds them. Idk if it’s related to when he saved her from the fire or something more. Also alternates to past POV when she was committed and made a friend. She speaks fondly of him. Maybe it’s related to him then?

Inch arresting. Last nights hookup being your boss the next day is so cheesy trope I knew couldn’t be the main focus cuz it’s soooo bad. But his wife is so interesting troubled, traumatized, has been institutionalized, a little manipulative. She’s lonely and desperate for companionship and orchestrates meeting MC on purpose. It’s their little secret. I like the wife. She comes off yandere
