A wonderful chapter, depicting the end goals of the communists: to rid society of the irreconcilable truths; the wish for individual profits in a system that is built in collective efforts.

While Kropotkin and Marx are in agreement of this end result, they differ heavily in their views on how this is to be accomplished.

I think, for now, that kropotkin is ignoring how dedicated the capitalists will be to stop this.

Main disagreement with this chapter:

While his analysis of how the wealthy coerce the poor to work for less is correct, his idea of how this will be overthrown lacks scope.

Yes, inside the local community, whom have eradicated the poverty that makes the poor settle for less, the feedback loop would vanish; but the parasites exist outside of the local group and would swoop in with their army of impoverished soldiers

First chapter complete. It is a decent chapter so far, though feels more poetic than theoretical. Good points are brought up, however it is not something ground breaking thus far when it comes to similar works made by socialist thinkers in the past.

I enjoy his short mention of the just revolt of Africans against Europeans. I hope he goes into this more.

Excited to see where this leads.
