I so appreciate all the historical details in this story but I wish it would get to the point a bit faster because these poor characters have been suffering the whole book and I just want them to be happy now lol.

BOY has it picked up - the tension is killing me lol

The first few chapters had an overwhelming amount of backstory details, but it's getting pretty interesting now.
