Wow this is so eerie and soul-crushing. I feel like he’s mentally going insane and in the end he won’t kill Riggs because of all the dead people he met, stopping him from basically ruining his life. Also what I’m getting is that the “rules” aren’t actually fruitful, they seem very harsh and unforgiving.

The writing is so lyrical it falls off the tongue so well oh my goodness
