finished picking sweetgrass!! if im being super honest (hana let me know if this is just me or if you agree) the initial novelty of the book/its lessons is wearing off a little and it is taking me abit more effort to pick it up and keep reading but i think that its solely because its non-fiction and episodic which isn’t a bad thing at all. nonetheless we press on and i keep reading and learning!!

first section done!! i really get why this book is so widely lauded la… the writing is seriously so good but beyond that her storytelling is fantastic; its like the best parts of being in school and having a super zai teacher that is a very engaging storyteller.

IT HAS BEGUN!!! two chapters in and the warm happy feeling that i get from people who love nature writing about nature is here and i am thoroughly enjoying it so far
