246-247 Charlemagne thanks them for their support in many battles. He owes them everything that he has. He asks them to fight for two reasons: (1) it’s a battle against the infidel and (2) it’s revenge over the men lost during the ambush at the pass. They vow to fight with one voice and they all prepare for the grim battle ahead. Go Duke Naimon: he killed the son of the emir!!!! Woo hoo!!!
