the chosen one on my books club for this month and i’m very excited! i already can tell it is rich in details. hopefully i’ll learn a bit more about the french revolution (for the author gives us all the historical context), marie antoniette influence on the fashion world, and, of course, this historical figure that i thought was kind of controversial at first, but ended up sparking my interest and curiosity🎀
