I’m gonna need this to pick up a bit. Has all the components of a good story but every time there is a flashback I want to put the book down. And also I am having a hard time liking the FMC she’s a little martyr/savior/sacrifice complex and I either need the author to show me she’s worth it or for her to buck up.
