Fully clocked in with the interrogation. That was such a great turning point! Is the fake dating subplot needed, though? I’m not sure.
Those credit cards being opened under Jordyn’s name when she didn’t create them and Devonte’s been charged with credit card fraud, though… That’s what the kids would call tea.

There are a few aspects to how Jackson is writing her characters that reminds me of the other work I’ve read by her, but not in a bad point. She’s painting the juxtaposition of Jordyn understanding the validity of Devonte’s points, but knowing there’s something else going on, well. LaVoy CRUSHED Chapter 6, as well.
It’ll be exciting to see what theories of mine will come true.
