This book was very slow going for me in the beginning, but I soon realized the intricate cast of characters and the author's meticulous attention to every minute detail was what was slowing me down. After I became familiar with the people in the book, it has become an easier read. Still, it's not a Fionavar Tapestry or Ysabel for me...I wish with all of my heart GGK would write a followup to Fionavar...*sighhhh*...
