What's impressing me most about this so far is just how sophisticated the worldbuilding is. Atlantis has got it's own unique setting descriptions, political factions, and culture. It's pious but decadent, honor driven, yet morally corrupt. The setting up of the plot is going well, even if sometimes I find the twists a little undercooked. Still, unless it falls off a cliff, it will get a positive review once i'm done.

Opening is pretty solid to this one. Drops you right into a very interesting secondary world, impressive few characters, and a fast paced plot already. Some weaknesses may be the writing style, which I don't feel immerses well. With how cool the setting is, I would prefer a more lyrical, prose-centric writer, but we shall see if it improves
