is 97% done
so yeah
there were two good handfuls of times this was worth four or five stars
but the bs i mentioned hacked those stars off every time
so i’m rating this three stars
i’m not hopeful for the rest of this series
i honestly think they’ll not get any better
one thing i’m hoping is the fmcs bitch mother dies in the first chapter of book two
if she’s the big bad villain for this entire series

is 95% done
this was easily better than most books ive read lately and ever
but there was just too much bs
lack of editing that kept happening annoyingly so
as well as plain boredom at times
on top of things like how this started off so well and dark and twisted
which i adore
but then it just got

it’s only worth four stars thanks solely to the handful or two of good moments
this story started off great but it def taped off somewhere around the middle
and then just started wilting like a limp dick
and now it’s just mellowed out to be mainly meh
more often than not i was distracted for various reasons
and coming back to read more with the feeling of just wanting to get it done and over with

it’s five thirty am saturday morning now though
i think ive been reading since before midnight
only just now took my allergy pill
doubt i’ll finish this book before i knock out
i feel impatient and a little bored

or a peppermint patty

i just liked the titled chapters
it doesn’t happen often enough so it feels like a novelty rn
and it inspired/reminds me to do the same in my own writing
i enjoy a good first impression
first line/sentence in a book really has to hook me and this one was pretty good
even if i can’t recall it right away
something about monsters wanting to eat or fuck her
