So far I’m really loving the development of Connell and Marianne’s relationship, it sounds trite but the title truly speaks to the themes of this book both characters feel like very real and tangible characters they are very deeply flawed but the connection they share is true and authentic but it sees like getting out of their own way and not giving up and assuming things about the other is going to be difficult.
