Picked this up again- was craving some Eldritch horror

Just finished The White Ship and I have to say... Sometimes I love how detailed these stories are, but I often find myself having to reread or skip paragraphs because it reallyyyy drags out certain descriptions at times!!! We're still talking about this??? I get that's part of Eldritch horror- just making observations! it's either a hit or miss for me
