I was hooked from the beginning, but as we go on, i feel like so much of this could be cut out. It's reading too much like the author really wants to make sure that YOU know that SHE knows everything there is about Slashers. If this is your very first foray into the genre, sure this info is useful. But, we got an entire Randy Meeks monologue on the rules of surviving a Slasher in here which just didn't feel needed.
