Is English being my second language showing, or is “getting skull messed by Isaac’s toe” just a really weird way to phrase things? Because I honestly don’t know what’s going on with the writing in this book… it’s taking me out of it.
I mean, I understand what they’re saying, but… why say it like that?!? 🥴

But just so you know, I just noticed that the version I have of the book is censored, I don’t know how or why, but that’s why the writing feels so weird 😂
Sofi: "the version I have of the book is censored..." oh that's so weird! The version I had (of a different book) was an ARC and it was super terrible and weird (and uncensored!) so I'd say it's just the author's bad writing. But I haven't read this book so I can't say for sure. One book of his was more than enough for me! 😅🫠
