In The Housemaid is Watching, the story reveals hidden motives, specifically from Suzette, Millie's new neighbor and especially about the relationship between Enzo and Suzette. Millie is outraged; "By the end of this night, if I have not stabbed Suzette with one of these forks, it will only be because I'm not sure which one to use to do it." (252) My prediction is that Millie is going to discover some bad news soon.

In the first chunk of The Housemaid Is Watching, Millie and Enzo move their family to Long Island. Where Millie feels startled by their neighbors and by a hidden, soundproof room found under the stairs. She is also unsettled by Enzo and his late jobs at the house next door, "He apologizes and Millie chooses to believe him, even though doubt gnaws at the back of her mind" (111). I predict Millie will confront Enzo.

Hi Ellie! I am currently reading the first book, but it seems like the plot is moving really fast. I definitely want to continue reading the series after hearing this review. Can't wait to hear what happens next!
