El mejor resumen de esta casa de locos.

Vale pero poco se habla de una de las verdaderas víctimas de esta novela: Frances.

<spoiler>Vale o sea lo de Catherine pasando semanas en la granja de los Linton es en otoño-invierno de 1777. En verano de 1778 nace Hareton.</spoiler>

'You're fit for a prince in disguise. Who knows, but your father was Emperor of China, and your mother an Indian queen, each of them able to buy up, with one week's income, Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange together? And you were kidnapped by wicked sailors, and brought to England.'

'But, Nelly, if I knocked him down twenty times, that wouldn't make him less handsome, or me more so. I wish I had light hair and fair skin, and was dressed, and behaved as well, and had a chance of being as rich as he will be!'

Claro y me ponen a Jacob Elordi de Heathcliff y Shazad Latif como Edgar Linton.
Admito que esta relectura es para poder meter mierda sobre criticar la película.

En lo que voy de libro ya han llamado a Heathcliff tanto: gipsy, Lascar (a.k.a. indio), American o Spanish.

"Frightful thing! Put him in the cellar, papa. He's exactly like the son of the fortune-teller, that stole my tame pheasant. Isn't he, Edgar?"

Cathy es la típica que si le dices que tienes un moratón en la rodilla va y te lo aprieta con fuerza para que duela.

El hecho de que lo llaman Heathcliff porque un bebé de la familia que murió se llamaba así, para que luego digan por twitter que la relación de Cathy y Heathcliff no se puede interpretar como incesto.
