Man I was really enjoying this book until the bike scene. But that was a hard read. There is no freakin way he can’t ride a bike anymore. There is a reason for the phrase “like riding a bike.” You don’t lose it. Even with the spinal tumor, it’s not believable. Because he’s so incredibly active without any noticeable loss of balance and only minor decline in baseline strength. So. Ew.
