I'm on the 17th chapter of Mockingjay and I feel like it's gaining a faster pace. Katniss finds out she's not actually heading to the capitol, and since she's been training this whole time, she's been preoccupied, which makes some sense. With all the physical training, it's really tough on Katniss, especially with her injury and this probably doesn't make her healing time any shorter.

The further into the third book of the Hunger Games series, the more exciting and intriguing it gets..! I'm really enjoying this book and I kind of don't want to finish it, just because I know it's the last book in the series. Katniss keeps encountering shocking events and I can barely keep up with her.

As I read through the third book in the Hunger Games series, I can pick up on the references to our present time as Katniss talks about the "ancestors" that are only mentioned in history books. It's interesting to see how a future generation might see us if things ever took a similar turn to what happened to Katniss and her society. I have definitely gained new perspectives of what could happen to a culture like ours

The third book in the Hunger Games series is just as good as the first two. I think I like this one in a different way because there is more talk of rebellion and the revolution against the Capitol. Also, the twist with Peeta being taken by the the Capitol, while Gale and Katniss are in District 13 makes me wonder what is going to happen next. I'm definitely looking forward to see how their relationship works out.
