I fucking love Kurt Vonnegut so much. These remind me of when the VP of Mission at my university suggested I apply to write and give the commencement speech for our class. Coming from a typically aloof, busy man, this meant a lot to me. So I did it. I was proud of what I put on the page. It was true to myself and, I thought, sound advice and wishes for our class.

I got a very generic rejection letter. So it goes!
