The book has gotten more interested since Alika and Sulu got lost on the boat, while they were exploring the floe they erroneously encountered a bear hunting which scared Sulu but helped Alika stay alert. Their parents have met a new character Inu an old man who can talk to spirits and animals. Inu told their parents that their kids are alive and will survive but that they should continue to search for them...

Alika's parents failed to find and rescue him and his brother from the floe that they are stuck on, Kassus Alika's father is upset that they have still not find their children who are lost in the wild, and can be floating anywhere in the ocean.

I picked this book because it stood out on the shelf and the cover of the book made me curious. After reading the short summary on the back of the book I decided that I want to read this book.
