The two brothers Alika and Sulu went to hunt seals on the ice, but they ended up on a floating ice and now they have floated away from land. I feel like I can relate to Alika because he is a left brain thinker more logical and aware of the danger's than his little brother Sulu who is more of a creative thinker even in a situation like this.

The book has gotten more interested since Alika and Sulu got lost on the boat, while they were exploring the floe they erroneously encountered a bear hunting which scared Sulu but helped Alika stay alert. Their parents have met a new character Inu an old man who can talk to spirits and animals. Inu told their parents that their kids are alive and will survive but that they should continue to search for them...

I picked this book because it stood out on the shelf and the cover of the book made me curious. After reading the short summary on the back of the book I decided that I want to read this book.
