Surprised by how much of an enjoyable read Antigone was upon revisiting. Although, I will say every time the Chorus speaks I lose my enjoyment. I appreciate that the introduction provided background and context but I skipped some of the Chorus sections because they actively hindered my experience. I remember discussing human vs divine law when reading this in school.
