i’m calling it: since all of them got sick earlier in the week except for kinsley, they all have the same changes in their bodies as dom. the other researchers are just doing a better job at hiding it. dom got sick first, so his virus wasn’t mutated to the point where it was good at hiding itself like the others

this is so fun. the intro hooked me from the first sentence: “the specimen is breathing”. the specimen having eye sockets full of sand is such a fun visual. excited to keep reading on the long drive home tomorrow :.)
