I thought this book was going to go into how the maze was built by the creators??

This book is set 13 years before the events of Maze Runner with occasional flashbacks to the time around the sun flares.

The new characters are decent enough to keep my curiosity going but so far I’m not sure where the story is going.

Cool that we are getting an inside look of the sun flares.

Onto the first prequel.
