I'm confused bc I've heard Bunny is AMAZING, and while I really enjoy the voice in this and some of the thematic stuff Awad is exploring, I'm getting really frustrated that so much of the story is interiority. I'm now 100 pages in and there has been one, MAYBE two (?) story developments - if this one scene I'm thinking of turns out to be a development and not just a random alcohol induced delusion. About to DNF...

I like the voice and I think the depiction of someone suffering from chronic pain is compelling, but I'm fairly meh so far.
