This may be a DNF because I can’t stand any of the characters - the constant “whys” and explanations for said whys during tense moments makes me want to hurl the book across the room but I can’t because it’s on audio. The bones are there but it’s also almost half way through and I’m still waiting for something to happen that doesn’t involve a family arguing their way through an apocalyptic road trip
