Love love this book

Contemplation is the free more penetrating gaze of the mind.

Distinguish thinking- a rambling analysis of many things.. Keats.. the dull brain perplexes and retards. Per Ode to a Nightingale

Meditation- the gaining of knowledge

Contemplation- not a mental process- therefore- surpasses both

Every ten years or so I read it - And I get a little more out of it.

❤ This is a mystic text but rooted in the Bible. Always humble. One of my fave books. Not a quick read.
