Reading this has been so enjoyable - no need to fuss about what I want to read and also no issues in switching between my ereader and the physical edition. At this rate, I think I may stick some more long books while work demands all my brainspace. (it's also just really nice and fun to read. my other miévilles were a bit tougher, so i'm double glad :) )

To my own surprise, I've actually been very happy about just slowly trodding along through this book. I haven't really read a book this slowly since 2022, maybe, and it's been nice to be slowed down like this.

i am so happy that the formatting for this is so pleasing on the eye 🙏🏻 miéville isn't always the easiest to read and i'm glad the physical edition isn't making that any worse.
