So far the writing is strange but perhaps brilliant. Here’s why. We have this character and his writing is choppy. Incomplete sentences. Just awful. Then we learn he’s a published author. What? Then I find out he had an extreme fever that resulted in brain damage. Okay now I get it. So perhaps this is indeed brilliant.

I’m rather excited to see where it goes.
