Goodreads finally disabled DMing on my account, like it had for many others so far.
I feel so frustrated cause I was able to meet so many amazing users through that feature. Yes there were creeps but nothing a report-and-block couldn't solve.
Imagine if Instagram or Facebook just took that feature away?
Is the goal to remove every extra thing until we just review like bots on here??

Wow, I just noticed that. I don't know if the goal is just to turn us into an Amazon review mill, though that wouldn't surprise me, but they have been gradually eroding all the social aspects of this social network over the past four or five years. I have no idea why, unless they're very slowly trying to phase out GR altogether. Watch them disable groups and commenting next!
