This sounds really good, how are you finding it?

Not at all what I was expecting, good but not great!

What was you expecting

A book where the paranormal element was strong instead is a lot more about female rights and this girl who has an horrible father and how she's trying to escape from his grasp and from what society expects from women (it's 1900). For that is a great read, but I was expecting another kind of book, it's more an historical fiction with a touch of paranormal.

Oh dear I expected to read about the oppression of women's rights etc but thought the paranormal element would balance it out. That lightens my to-read pile

It might still be worthy of it's something you may like but the paranormal aspect is definitely just a contour to the main story.
