Still getting use to the writing/language. As this was written by an Australian in Australian/UK English. The words don’t flow as naturally to me and sound a bit funny to an American ear but the story itself is interesting. FMC is a bit corky, somewhat loony & the MMC seems to counter her vibe. Banter is funny. I’m interested to see where this goes.

ARC read. Writing takes some getting used to to. The blurb and first chapter don’t do a good job painting the picture of this type of story. Chapter 1-2 should have a time jump marker, example: 7 years later…… despite the odd writing style, story seems interesting. Has a gladiator, caste system, with a fantasy element in the ways the souls connect/ find one another.
