The novel is mainly about the early upbringing of punk music in New York. It includes interviews with Iggy Pop, Danny Field, Joey Ramone, and many other famous punk figures. The part I am reading right now is talking about Jim Morrison and the poetry of rock and roll. The people being interviewed described the poetry in rock and roll in so many different ways.
