I will never understand why so many romance books choose the first time for characters to kiss/have sex right after something traumatic happens.

An overprotective, grumpy, violent macho guy is literally my definition of hell. BUT, it makes me laugh so much that he owns half of the businesses in the entire town and he just pops up everywhere. The only thing I can picture is Kirk from Gilmore Girls.

The story is quite fun though.

Currently reading this because I’ve joined another book club! Yay! Unsure about it so far. Cheesy but quite captivating
