I can appreciate that Percy couldn't compute how Athena had children without being married. This his "kilogram of steel/kilogram of feathers" moment.

Naiad SLAMS Percy for being a nepo baby.

I really like the way this story feels like it's chasing the shadows of another generation of Poseidon's kid.

I still stand by Eurytion and Geryon being played by Tim Robinson and Connor O'Malley. Unhinged guys whose farm is like The Continental in John Wick (NO KILLING). I liked the Minos reveal and the soul mystery being alive. I wonder if Sigmus is missing a soul somehow.

Kampe is Mr X from Resident Evil 2.
Briares would be really exciting to depict visually.
Cyclopes ability to mimic voices might become important later.
Briares not coming out of jail even when Tyson pries the bars. This is like Hera with Annabeth and Percy. Can only open the way, not push them out.
Percy cheating with the gun: foreshadowing. His cheating can defy the fates. Break the rules, save the world.

Last time I called my baddie queen Hera Seema Aunty. While I may still say that, I also think she's very interesting.

She represents a god's willingness to set someone down their destiny. I think it's cool when someone is told an answer is within them, they act based on what they think the answer is, but are never told whether their "answer" is right.
