Sanji really has just been doing side quests for like a day and a bit. There's been explosions, volcanic eruptions, giants fighting and Baroque Works capturing his crew and causing a whole lot of damage, but he was just too in the zone to notice, I guess. Gotta beat Zoro at that hunting competition.
