My brain does not like this book! The dialogue between the protagonist and her husband and the way she talks about him reminds me of the way Cassie talked to/about Nate in Euphoria. A disgusting display of desperation for approval. I’m sure that’s the whole point and it’s to add to the eerie tone of the book but EEEEYUCKKK!
