This book feels very mid, as the kids say. Not interesting enough to captivate me. Not boring enough to drop it completely.

For someone who loves manga, anime, and Japanese tv dramas, I really seem to struggle with getting into Japanese novels. Something about the rhythm never draws me in, whether it's a light novel or something like this. (The one exception so far being the Saeki Sayaka series)
