I can’t tell how I feel about the “he was secretly gay, that’s why he was a homophobic asshole” redemption arc for Troy. It’s an interesting idea but there’s a lot of heavy stuff being thrown in here that we saw none of beforehand, not even scattered in previous books…

I love seeing them interacting with kids, I hope they do more of that in this book.
