this feels as if i was reading 3 different books in one. i didn't know what i was expecting from it but i would not have been able to imagine anything like this. first weird situationship, then sexual (and domestic) abuse and now severe anxiety and depression. mariannes character is so interesting. they're both so interesting actually. i want to deep analyse them, but i don't want to waste my time on that I WANT TO

noooo, i'm only half way through and i'm already experiencing a heartbreak. i feel like they will just be on and off with each other for most of the book... cause they can't communicate their feelings thoroughly, which is too realistic, them being imperfect and such, but god is it frustrating... i like them, i want them to be happy. i get a feeling they won't end up together, just to make it bittersweet and nostalgic
