I swore I’d skip thus the next time I read the series. But since I got this paperback for my birthday, I figured I’d read it again just this once. I really hope I like it more than I did the first time. (Also listening on audiobook from Hoopla hoping it will be over faster.)

I was looking forward to this and I’m finding that I’m really struggling with it. I’ll read a few pages and put it down. It’s just not holding my attention. I’m missing all the Rebel Kings!!! Viktor and Ranger are on some island in…Spain maybe? Idk! Either way, they’re far from the Kings and I’m missing them. This seems more like a standalone rather than a RK book. 😞
