My first non-fiction history book since completing my history degree is going well! Matisse’s writing style is easy to follow and reads like a story - a very nice change from the heavy history books I would read as a student.

It’s an incredible story and I can’t believe the life that Catherine lived through. Having to stop myself googling ahead and getting spoilers!
