I am sorry for ever doubting Roshar, I honestly am. The queen deserves all the doubt and my hatred. And I guess Roshar did in a way, but I also think seeing Risha helped him realise what would be best for both Arin and Herran, and himself. I'm glad he freed himself from the queen's thumb for this, it makes him more genuine a friend to Arin

I'm scared to read on. I'm glad that Roshar at least has enough care for his little sister, that he will protect the guy she likes even though he technically is the enemy

I don't know why Arin isn't mad about being ruled by Roshar, like if that were me and someone claimed to be my friend.. I would be so mad. And then on top of that, Roshar's belittling comments, I want to punch him so much. The fact that Herran could literally be wiped off the face of the earth because of the joining of the east and west kills me, current affairs have leaked realism into the situation

I hate this so much, Arin's never been free. He just gets transferred from owner to owner. I knew there was something suspicious about Roshar and the eastern queen. It disgusts me to know about this.

Currently, he's the governing body of his nation, like an acting prime minister/president, which means that Roshar is technically able to pull the strings. And that also means Herran will never truly gain independence

Not sure why, but I feel really suspicious of Roshar and the east people as a whole. It honestly feels like Herran is being ganged up on, on all ends

My heart breaks for Kestrel, she wanted to forget why she was in prison. She wanted to forget that her father chose to send her there

I have been waiting days to read this. I'm honestly quite scared about it
