Claire has died and, honestly, if I were Astrid I would have stayed with Ron. Well, eh. Now that I've said that I don't think I would have. She didn't have the bond with him like she did with Claire. I feel so sorry for Claire. She was so sweet, I liked her a lot.

Astrid has been through a lot, so it wouldn't really be that odd if she acted the way she does. I feel like this is being a bit too tough, honestly. she isn't even their daughter, at least not yet.
