I could only read a little bit today. Just a rough day in general. But I’m glad I did read a little. Hearing more about guilty sparks history is intriguing and it’s interesting how he revealed himself to oni just to save Rion. He misses his friend he keeps saying, and honestly that hits close to home.

I didn’t expect this book to be so involved with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) like it is. I expected more of that in the ferret series but so far they have more ONI in this book than all of those combined. It’s a nice fresh perspective into the world of Halo.
