Also unfortunately not a fan of the FMC and her really sucky internal monologues. If I didn't know who the author was I might have assumed this was an FMC written by a misogynist man.

Unfortunately so far I am personally having like a 2-star time and there is a possibility of DNF. Most of that is completely personal taste--I did not realize how psychological this book was going to be, which is something I don't like and entirely not the book's fault.
In terms of writing and plot I would say this is probably a 3.5 star so far.
