Ok ultimately after cooling down I am going either 2 starts, I think maybe 45%, maybe 50 but I can’t give it 3 stars. I remember having a hard time getting into this book cause I didn’t think the writing was great, didn’t really flow. But then I got stuck into the crazy story but I will always go back to ITS EASY TO WRITE A CRAZY STORY WHEN YOU DONT HAVE TO EXPLAIN ANY OF IT

So beyond disappointed cause I was so into it, and the end feels like such a cop out. No answers, no motives, no understanding of who he is. That last blog post? Like a million questioned were asked and none answered. Was that Charlie and Shylo in the motel or no? Like damn my guy you could have tied up even a single loose end

There is a difference between an open ending or an up to interpretation ending and just answering absolutely no questions and giving no solutions. The morse code thing is bollix, it’s not smart. We were basically told already he was older than the house and all but then why is there only the one previous victim or is it a the next one brought in sets the previous free? There needed to be even a *single* answer

NO WAY THEY SAY THAT AND I READ ONE MORE BLOG POST AND IT GOES TO AUTHORS ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS !!!!!! I’m so annoyed, he gives her Charlie’s locket with the only living picture of Eve, called her Charlie too and then it just ends?? So there was no solution, I never get to know?! Amazing idea, clearly no idea how to resolve it so just didn’t. I’m pissed

I fear NONE OF THIS IS GOING TO BE RESOLVED

The train stopped at the most inconvenient time last week and I somehow haven’t come back to it. Still no idea what’s happening and how they will clean everything up in 14% but looking forward to seeing what they do! I’m finishing tonight!!!

At no point have I had a grasp on what is going on. I don’t think I’ve read a book that at 80% I’ve been so wildly lost of what could possibly happen at the end. I still have no idea which one is the real Charlie and cannot grasp what is happening with Thomas / Alison

So relieved that Charlie sees the window too cause that would have been a frustrating read, plus I don’t want the ending to be Eve was mentally ill all along

Fucking Jenny or whatever her name is already pissing me off and I don’t care much for Eve yet either..
