The blurb sounded fantastic so I bought it secondhand from WoB. Turns out it's just yet another post-apocalyptic story (and the antagonists are zombies just with a different name which made the blurb misleading), which would be fine if that genre wasn't done to death around 2012.
Let's just get through this...
