We went from taking a room in a town to a raunchy woodland rendezvous when Oskar had to cover his boner as he was soaping up Guinevere and couldn’t help but get turned on by her body and breasts. Holy Jesus!!!! Oskar and Guinevere started to get steamy, moist underwear and erection steamy, but none of the good stuff happened as Oskar had to resume his night watch duties. The funniest bit so far is definitely Guinevere accidentally swallowing a load of mosquitoes in a swamp, having a go at a massive troll, and the troll staring at her like “what the actual fuck?!?” XD

Getting even more insight of the dynamic between Oskar and Guinevere. Very amusing to see how different they are: Guinevere being more regal and proper and Oskar being more blunt and short tempered.

I like the beginning dynamic of Guenivere and Oskar and even though there is an extreme amount of tension, you can sense the intrigue between the two. I also love the strength of Guenivere’s powers and she can set the woods on fire at the beginning of the book

Very descriptive and vivid. I love how Guinevere’s powers and source are given to us so early on so we could potentially see them grow or an inner turmoil to suppress them.
